Fresh new plans reveal a three-storey childcare centre could soon be moving into Parramatta. A Development Application lodged with City of Parramatta has proposed a 99-place childcare centre for 55-57 Thomas Street. The site, which is currently occupied by two single-storey homes, is located within an established residential area and is just a 450-metre walk to the Western Sydney University Parramatta Campus. Under the proposal, the dwellings would be demolished to make way for the new facility.
