A police search is underway after a teenage girl went missing from Sydney’s Eastern Beaches almost a week ago. Charlee Castle, 13, was last seen at a home on Murrabin Ave, Matraville, about 11pm last Wednesday, July 26 2023. When she could not be located, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Two men are fighting for life and a woman has been injured after a gunman opened fire in a “targeted” attacked in Sydney’s west overnight. The wild shooting unfolded about 2.15am on Sunday when the gunman opened fire as the three victims sat in parked cars on Mayvic St, an industrial area of Greenacre. A 25-year-old man was shot in the head, the other, aged 22, was shot in the neck and the 19-year-old woman was shot in the back.
