Per an emergency alert issued in the area, the suspected shooter of Melissa Hortman and John Hoffman's vehicle was located near MN Highway 25 and 301st Avenue in Faxon Township in Sibley County. The suspect has not yet been located. The suspect is 57-year-old Vance Boelter, who is believed to have impersonated a law enforcement officer in the shooting of both representatives and killing of Hortman.
