    CHARLESTON (WCIA) — The three-peat is complete for Becca Heitzig, after dominating the Class 2A 800 meter run for the Railsplitters with her best finish of the season at 2:09.55. Heitzig also won the mile at 4:58.82 to cross the finish line nearly four seconds ahead of her closest competitor. The senior also ran the anchor leg of her 4×400 relay team that finished 9th, capping off a memorable high school career before she heads to Iowa State.

    WELLSBURG, W.Va. (WTRF)As the severe weather continues to hit the communities in the Ohio Valley, local organizations are stepping up to help residents in need. The Wellsburg Kiwanis Club is holding a donation drive to collect items for those affected by the flooding in Brooke and Hancock counties. They have four main drop-off locations in Weirton, Wellsburg, Follansbee, and Steubenville. Members say they are collecting Cleaning Supplies, Totes, Food Toiletries, and Trash Bags.
