DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) - Governor Jared Polis will soon review SB25-003, potentially signing it into law, putting stricter licensing restrictions on semiautomatic weapons in the Centennial State. The bill prohibits the purchase or sale of "rapid fire conversion devices, like bump stocks and binary triggers," according to Colorado Senate Democrats.

(KRDO) - Colorado Springs Police are searching for suspects following a smash-and-grab robbery on the east side of the springs near the Citadel Mall. Police say the suspects broke into the business around 3:24 in the morning, wearing black ski masks. They caused considerable damage and stole jewelry, though the dollar amount is unknown. Police believe the suspects left on foot and escaped in a vehicle.

New Published March 16, 2025 6:41 AM COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Police are investigating a double shooting on Sonoma Drive after responding to two separate calls on the street Saturday night. Police say they got two separate calls, one at 8:22 and one at 8:30. Both were about shooting victims, both of whom were transported to a local hospital. Police say investigators quickly determined the shootings were connected and both occurred on Sonoma Drive.
