COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) – A 15-year-old girl missing for weeks from Utah has been found safe over 500 miles away in Colorado Springs after walking into a police substation late Sunday night, according to Utah's South Jordan Police Department (SJPD). According to police, 15-year-old Alisa Petrov walked into the Stetson Hills subdivision on Sunday, May 1, and identified herself. Authorities have confirmed that she is safe and unharmed.

However, large piles of ash and embers will remain as crews work to extinguish them completely. Shortly before noon on Saturday, the Western Fremont Fire Protection District was called to extinguish an RV fire at Cutty's resort on County Road 6 in Coaldale.

(KRDO) -- A 25-year-old man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after opening fire on a crowd of people who were there to watch a planned fight. Six people were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds Sunday morning, one of whom was a minor. One victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but CSPD says that person is now stable.

(KRDO) - Following a statewide debate about the legality of local law enforcement's ability to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, El Paso County Sheriff's Office says they have released 16 individuals to ICE custody since January, after reconsidering state law with county attorneys. Of those sixteen individuals, five are accused of violent offenses, and three face drug-related charges.
