    Lewis Fosberry pleaded guilty to drug-driving and possession of cannabis at Wrexham Magistrates' Court (Image: Newsquest) A man from a north Shropshire village who admitted drug-driving has lost his licence. Lewis Fosberry was driving a Vauxhall on the A495 in Bronington, near Wrexham, on December 18, last year, when he was stopped by police. A blood test showed he had 3.5ug/l Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannbinol - the active ingredient in cannabis - in his system. The legal limit is 2ug/l.

    Gledrid Roundabout where traffic is building up following a crash (Image: GoogleStreetView) A busy road near Oswestry is partially blocked this morning after a crash. The incident on the A5/A483 at Gledrid happened at around 9.30am. According to traffic website Inrix, there is currently heavy traffic on the B5070 (Chirk/St Martins road) and the A5 is partially blocked. Google Maps is showing northbound traffic tailing back along the A5 from the Oswestry direction.

Sharon Parr is accused of arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered after a property in Breidden View in Llandrinio was damaged by fire between December 20 and 23, 2023. The 55-year-old, of Waterfall Street in Llanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant, appeared at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (April 8).
