(WHNT) – An Arab man has died in the hospital after being attacked with a hatchet in Arizona, his wife told News 19. The family of 32-year-old Jacob Couch has confirmed that he died in an Arizona hospital after being attacked on East Broadway Boulevard and South 6th Avenue in Tucson. Couch was in the hospital for 12 days following the attack, and his wife said he died at 9 p.m. on Thursday.

HAZEL GREEN, Ala. (WHNT) — Pretty soon, the southside of Hazel Green High School will get a brand new look. The Madison County School System says it is moving forward with a 20,000 square foot addition to the campus. The Madison County Board of Education approved the winning bid for the project at a meeting earlier this month. It’s expected to cost around $7.5 million. News 19 spoke to the Director of Operations for the Madison County School System, Joseph Cuzzort to learn more about it.
