An Ocala man is facing a first-degree murder charge after a deadly shooting in New Tampa last summer. Terrance Barnett Robinson Jr., 34 was originally facing a charge of acting as an accessory to the murder of 24-year-old Kyle John Prisco, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Prisco was found shot on Regents Park Drive, off the 19000 block of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, shortly before 3 p.m. June 17.

Residents of a Sand Key condominium tower were evacuated Tuesday evening after “potential structural issues” were found, officials say. Clearwater Fire Division Chief Jevon Graham told WFLA that construction work was being done Tuesday afternoon on the first-floor parking garage at the South Beach III Condos, 1460 Gulf Blvd., when engineers noticed a crack in a support column. The building was deemed unsafe, and residents were evacuated as a precaution.

An inmate at the Falkenburg Road Jail died Wednesday morning before he was scheduled to appear in court, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Robert Richard Anderson, 72, was awaiting transport for the hearing when he suffered a “medical event” about 5:25 a.m., the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
