WEST MIFFLIN, PA — The owners of Century III Mall have permanently closed Century III Mall Boulevard, the private road between Clairton Road (Route 885) and Route 51 to all vehicles and pedestrians. The closure of the road is from the intersection of Century III Mall Boulevard and Clairton Road (Route 885) to the entrance of the UPMC Outpatient Center. Often used as a shortcut by motorists, the pothole-plagued road had drawn complaints that it posed safety hazard.

"Hershey," a major motion picture chronicling chocolate pioneer Milton Hershey and his wife Catherine "Kitty" Hershey, is set to begin production in May, according to the Hershey company.
