This is Galway Downs, a major equestrian center in the heart of rural Temecula Valley Wine Country. The site, opened in 1968 as racehorse training facility known as the Rancho California Track and Training Center, now hosts riding competitions, weddings, lodging and special events.

This year marks the 28th career week initiated by kindergarten teacher Gail Shaw, who has organized the event since the first one in 1995. There were three years when the event didn't happen because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
