THE FORSYTH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS TWO STUDENTS WERE SHOT AT ON THE BASEBALL FIELD ON MARCH 19TH. IT HAPPENED AFTER AN ARGUMENT. WE’RE TOLD NO ONE WAS HURT.

It's a great time to be a Duke fan as the men's basketball team prepares to tip off against Houston on Saturday in the final four. In Durham, fans are excited and sending their support in a number of ways. Bars and restaurants in the area are definitely one way the city can see and feel that Blue Devil pride. Lindsay Hancock said she's always had a passion for baking and a craving for a *good* cookie. "It's the softness on the inside. It's a nice crisp exterior. It's a-- it's the depth of the flavor," she said. But as a busy working mom of two boys, she hasn’t always had the time. "Before COVID-19, I was on 120 flights a year, and I never felt like I was in the places I need to be for my kids. When they would have activities at school, I would go over the top with baked good creations," she said.
