    FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - On Saturday, January 18, at around 9:51 p.m., a Fargo PD squad car entered the intersection at 25th Street N and was struck by a vehicle who failed to stop at the red light. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, 50-year-old Michelle Jensen of Fargo was arrested for DUI and driving while license suspended. NDHP says Jensen failed to stop for the red light and hit the squad car on it’s side.

    WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Two West Fargo Police Officers, Tyler Todd and Skyler Angeles, received the Life Saving Award. Officers Todd and Angeles were dispatched to a medical call for service involving an unconscious person. When the officers arrived, they assisted with CPR and other life-saving measures. (Valley News Live) - A bill introduced in the North Dakota legislature is proposing the state start making “blackout” license plates. “A constituent from Horace, a guy named Ben Tillman who contacted myself and my two running mates and said hey I’ve heard about these blackout plates in other states so do you think this is something we can do in North Dakota,” said North Dakota Senator Kristin Roers, who is the bills main sponsor.

(KVLY/Gray News) - A family in Minnesota is praising new federal legislation that aims to prevent hazing at universities after their son was permanently impaired from an incident on his campus. Danny Santulli was a freshman at the University of Missouri in the fall of 2021. On Oct. 19 of that year, he was pledging to the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Mary Santulli, Danny’s mother, said it was pledge dad reveal night. “The pledge dad at that time handed Danny a bottle of Tito’s,” she said.
