From 9 to 15 September around 30 students with their teacher went to Brussels for the field trip organized within the Jean Monnet Project “European Values”. “European Values” involves, in addition to eCampus University as lead partner, five high schools from Italy (’IIS N. Machiavelli‘ of Lucca and “IIS Montessori Repetti” of Marina di Carrara), Cyprus (’Lykeio Agiou Antoniou‘ of Limassol), Denmark (’Ørestad Gymnasium‘ of Copenhagen) and Greece (’2nd Geniko Lykeio’ of Arta).

Eda Gemi and Bledar Feta produced the annual report for the OECD Network of International Migration Experts. It maps out and analyses the 2022 – 2023 development in migration movements and policies in Greece while providing insights into emerging trends. It also examines the latest statistical information on immigrant stocks and flows, including their size and socio-demographic features, labour market participation, and migration policies in the country.

The present report deals only with the recruitment/invitation of third-country nationals through bilateral agreements as a framework for addressing labor shortages. In other words, we focus only on the invitation of foreign workers, with an emphasis on skilled and low-skilled labor, rather than Blue Card holders. The report forms part of a larger project looking into legal labor migration.
