AbstractCutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL) is a potentially fatal clonal malignancy of T cells primarily affecting the skin. The most common form of CTCL, mycosis fungoides, can be difficult to diagnose, resulting in treatment delay. We performed single-cell and spatial transcriptomics analysis of skin from patients with mycosis fungoides-type CTCL and an integrated comparative analysis with human skin cell atlas datasets from healthy and inflamed skin.

AbstractAntibiotics typically induce major physiological changes in bacteria. However, their effect on nutrient consumption remains unclear. Here we found that Escherichia coli communities can sustain normal levels of glucose consumption under a broad range of antibiotics. The community-living resulted in a low membrane potential in the bacteria, allowing slow antibiotic accumulation on treatment and better adaptation.

1 Introduction Solid-state lithium batteries (SSLBs) are believed to outperform the current mainstream commercial lithium-ion batteries due to the utilization of solid-state electrolytes (SSEs) with intrinsic non-flammability, good compatibility with lithium metal, and outstanding electrochemical stability.[1] Consequently, the development of SSEs has attracted significant attention from both industry and academia, with new advances focusing on ionic conductivity improvement,[2] lithium...

AbstractOver half of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cases diagnosed worldwide are in China1,2,3. However, whole-genome analysis of hepatitis B virus (HBV)-associated HCC in Chinese individuals is limited4,5,6,7,8, with current analyses of HCC mainly from non-HBV-enriched populations9,10. Here we initiated the Chinese Liver Cancer Atlas (CLCA) project and performed deep whole-genome sequencing (average depth, 120×) of 494 HCC tumours.
