A police search is underway for a missing man who was last seen at 2am today in York (Monday, May 12). North Yorkshire Police have launched an "extensive" search for Louis Doherty, 45, who is also known as Louis Gall. They have warned the public not to approach but to call 999 if they see him. My Doherty may appear "lost, confused and paranoid" and his family and friends are growing increasingly worried for his safety.

It was a Yorkshire-strong semi-final of BGT as Batley's Stacey Leadbeatter and Leeds' Will Burns came in the top two spots for the final - but only one could win. And it was Stacey who bagged the top spot and went through to the final of the talent show. Through tears she told the audience: "Thank you so much for believing in me, it's my dream." The supermarket cafe worker was the last to perform with her rendition of Demi Lovato's Anywhere.
