    A police cordon has been set up in a field after children made a chilling discovery. Yesterday evening (Monday, June 16), more than half a dozen police vehicles were spotted in a field in Thornaby, North Yorkshire. Children were 'digging for treasure' and creating a 'den' when they discovered several bullets in the ground. Local residents said armed police officers were in the area overnight, with forensic officers also spotted at the scene, the Mirror reports.
