WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Welcome to day 1 of the 2025 Hurricane season. it starts off on a wet note due to a stalled cool front over the area. This is tapping into our tropical moisture releasing morning showers and storms across South Florida. Heavy downpours, localized flooding and damaging wind gusts are the primary threats. We are under a Level 1, marginal, threat for severe weather from 7 AM through 1 PM today.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — We will have a similar setup to Saturday. A high pressure system will keep skies generally sunny. It will be another hot and humid day with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 with heat indices near the triple digits. The upper level ridging will keep us hot, hazy, and humid. This also contributes to our storm chances with the convective energy. The sea breeze from both coasts will set up further inland today. Look for our first storm along the sea breeze near 2 PM.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — With the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) set to announce their official 2025 Hurricane Outlook on Thursday, we could get a clearer picture of the kind of season we could be in for with how many named storms and hurricanes are expected. However, if last year taught us anything, it's that the unexpected can happen early.

My plan is to check it out tomorrow afternoon! Lots of wipeouts in the future 😂

I’m so lucky my first story included one of my favorite sports 🚴 Good luck to Chuck and the rest of the team who start their charity ride Sunday morning!

The Shenandoah Valley is in desperate need of rainfall, whereas in #757 we are seeing some dry spots. Good news for all, we are tracking Friday rain. A cold front will bring rain to the western portion of the state and a coastal low will bring rain to the coastline of VA and NC. https://t.co/G4MHDehslv
