"The genius of college football right now, we get our second session of transfer portal window and transfer recruiting," Montana coach Bobby Hauck said. "Then we get into a spring high school recruiting of juniors, camps. Players will be in the weight room lifting heavy starting Monday, four days a week.

MISSOULA — The Montana football team has its first player who will be entering the transfer portal following the conclusion of spring camp Friday. Kicker Grant Glasgow, who will be a junior this fall, will be putting his name into the portal, he announced Monday on social media. The spring window to enter the transfer portal opens April 16 and runs through April 25. "Montana, you have been nothing but a blessing to me," he wrote in a post on X.

MISSOULA — The Montana men's basketball team added its third transfer this offseason and its first from the NCAA Division II level. Trae Taylor, a 6-foot-9 forward, announced his commitment to the Grizzlies on social media Monday afternoon. He'll come to UM with one season of eligibility remaining after he spent the past four years at Chico State.

MISSOULA — Starting offensive lineman Cade Klimczak is sticking around the Montana football team a little while longer. He received a waiver from the NCAA for a seventh season and will be using that opportunity to suit up for the Grizzlies, the school announced Monday. It'll be his second season at UM after he transferred from Central Michigan. Klimczak started in all 14 games in the 2024 season, taking over at center in the third game and starting there the final 12 games.

MISSOULA — The Montana football team wrapped up its slate of 15 practices with its annual spring game Friday night at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. It was the only chance for the public to see the new-look Grizzlies, who added 20 transfers in the offseason and have returners looking to take on larger roles as they have to fill a multitude of holes on both sides of the ball.
