Pittsburgh Regional Transit and Dormont Borough are seeking a development partner to help with a new project. PRT and the borough hope to redevelop two parking lots along the Red Line into a "lively, mixed-use and mixed-income community to grow the neighborhood and increase transit ridership," according to a news release from Pittsburgh Regional Transit. Developers can submit qualifications and concepts for the 2.5-acre site next to Dormont Junction by May 26, 2025.

Rock legend Alice Cooper and heavy metal icons Judas Priest will share the stage for a co-headlining tour across North America later this year. The 22-city tour includes a stop at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown on Oct. 1, 2025. Corrosion of Conformity will join as support for select dates. "Coming off the second leg of their Invincible Shield Tour and the release of their celebrated 19th studio album, Judas Priest remains a dominant force in metal," said a Live Nation press release.

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has been named the NHL's 'Most Complete Player,' according to the annual NHLPA Player Poll. Crosby led the 'Most Complete Player' category for the sixth consecutive year, earning 33.81% of the vote. Crosby was also recognized for his play in the faceoff circle as he led the 'If you need to win a faceoff, who would you pick?' category with 20.39% of the vote.
