More than 400 youth exhibited nearly 700 projects, including arts & crafts, baked goods, plants, and more. Participants competed in four age divisions: Cloverbud (5-7), Junior (8-10), Intermediate (11-13), and Senior (14-18).

    Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) deputies arrested subjects from yesterday whopossessed out of county warrants on two unrelated cases. According to a release by WCSO February 14, two subjects, 36 year old, Tiffany Lynn Holyfield, and 44 year old, Shane Clinton McKinney, were located at an address on Pioneer Rd. According to WCSO, both suspects had outstanding warrants from Calhoun County for Grand Theft.

    Washington County Fire Services (WCFS) has received a donation of pet oxygen masks. According to a press release by WCFS, these are specialized masks that are a much-needed addition to their department, as they allow first responders to assist pets suffering from smoke inhalation- whether they are conscious or in need of resuscitation after exposure of harmful fumes.
