Edinburgh schools have been targeted in a phishing attack (Image: PA) Edinburgh schools have been targeted in a phishing attack that has locked students out of their revision material for exams. The attack forced the council to immediately reset passwords for every account across the network including students and teachers. It was first noticed on Friday afternoon when ‘unusual’ e-mail activity was discovered and an investigation was launched.

Train disruption on busy line as signalling cable damaged by fire (Image: Network Rail) More than 100 metres of signalling cable has been damaged in a fire near Shieldmuir. It means trains are being disrupted and that could continue into the weekend as repairs take place. Network Rail took to social media to say they were responding to a fire next on the West Coast Main Line and trains were currently unable to operate through the area.

The Dairy (Image: Scotland Home of the Year) Scotland’s Home of the Year continues on Monday and the judges have some choices to make in Central and Tayside. One of those homes includes a farm steading conversion near Doune called The Dairy. It is in Deanston and has been home to Mhairi, her husband Andrew and their family since 2023. It is a bright, modern home with impressive views across the Trossachs. The beautiful countryside outside influences the décor inside.
