A man will face court today after being found with what police believe are two homemade bombs on a major highway yesterday afternoon. At about 12pm Monday, police searched a car on the Sturt Highway, west of Hay in the Riverina region of New South Wales, and found drugs, a large knife and two suspected homemade pipe bombs. Fifty kilometres of the highway was closed for eight hours between Hay and Maude while police investigated.
