SI WOO KIM will take a one-shot lead into the final round of the RBC Heritage tomorrow, with Shane Lowry seven shots off the lead despite his best round of the week thus far. Lowry carded a four-under 67 on Saturday, hoisting himself to a tie for 16th position at the latest signature event on the PGA Tour. Lowry opened with a birdie but then disappointingly bogeyed the par-five second. He then birdied the next par-five and picked up another shot with a birdie on nine.

WEST HAM UNITED striker Niclas Fullkrug launched a stinging criticism of his team mates after their Premier League draw with Southampton on Saturday afternoon. McIlroy’s Masterspiece was the 70th major championship since Padraig Harrington won his maiden title in 2007 at Carnoustie. You won’t be surprised to hear that they have been dominated by American golfers, who have won 39 of them. But next on the list of successful nations is, remarkably, Ireland, with 11.

Unbelievable response from McIlroy - he's right back in it! Now he just needs the wind to blow and hold Scheffler back from running clear

Hovland, Lowry, Hideki, Bryson and Fleetwood all making a charge. But I'm glad to have been able to watch JJ Spaun vainly battle to make the cut

I apologise

Oh man, McIlroy. Whatever about 15 - brutally tough shot - 17 is a disaster. What an unravelling, and its all over for another year
