Irish gardeners are being urged to leave their teabags outside for the next few days following Met Eireann's strange weather update. Teabags can be used in composting along with scraps of fruit and veg, which helps boost garden plants. Those using teabags as part of their compost must first rip them up and then scatter the raw tea leaves amongst the compost pile, this is because many of the leading teabag brands still contain hidden plastic in their products, according to the Daily Record.
