    Apologies for stating what Basil Fawlty used to call “the bleeding obvious”, but there are an awful lot of true crime documentaries on television. Though judging by the way TV commissioners keep shovelling it into the schedules, audiences can’t get enough of the stuff. For everyone else suffering through the surfeit, BBC Two’s Murder 24/7 offers something a little bit different to the usual ghoulish fare.
