The El Paso County Sheriff's Office issued a missing person alert Friday evening for Charlie Brian Burrows, 15. Charlie is described as having light skin, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red sweater, blue jeans, and grey sneakers. Charlie requires a regular medication. He was last seen in the 13,000 block of Foggy Meadows Drive in Peyton. If seen, please contact (719) 390-5555.

A spokesperson with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has confirmed that 18 people who were taken into custody on April 27 as part of a major raid on an unlicensed Colorado Springs nightclub had previously been ordered to be deported.

A spring storm has brought considerable moisture to Teller County Tuesday, resulting in US 24 being closed between Woodland Avenue and Lucky 4 Road for several hours. The roadway was reopened as of 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Slower speeds are still advised. The entire US 24 corridor has been affected with icy road conditions from the storm, which began dropping moisture Monday. The worsening weather conditions Tuesday led Teller County to close all government offices at noon.

A midday Monday vehicle altercation led to a criminal threat and a swift arrest according to the Colorado Springs Police Department. City dispatchers reportedly received a 911 call where the victim of a road rage situation around 12:20 p.m. The caller told dispatchers that a male had exited their vehicle and threatened the caller with a handgun at East Platte Avenue and Arrawanna Street. The victim was able to provide a vehicle description and license plate number.
