Wyomingites love to fish. Even more out-of-staters love coming to Wyoming to fish. That's a lot of fish being taken out of these waters. So, how do we put them back? Wyoming fish hatcheries raise the little buggers. Once they are old enough, they have to be taken to some rather obscure locations to be released. Some waterways, be it river or lake, are in remote and hard-to-get places. Time to get creative.

Did you have your own room when you were growing up? Did you have your own bed? What about just a bed? It would surprise you how many kids don't have a bed to sleep in. Several communities in Wyoming are gathering volunteers together with one simple goal: no kid sleeps on the floor in our town!The organization is a national effort called Sleep In Heavenly Peace. There is a chapter in Worland, Wyoming, one in Casper, and Cheyenne.

A prehistoric mushroom? A dinosaur egg? An alien egg and pod just waiting to open wide and spit something out at your face? Honestly, if you came across this weird-looking rock formation here in Wyoming, what would you think? Wyoming Geologist Myron Cook devoted one of his YouTube posts to exploring what might have caused this. That video is below. At one point in the video, he was surrounded by a small field of these round domes. Honest, I was expecting one to flower open.

For several decades now the airport in Casper, Wyoming has had two MiG trainers on display. They are the real deal, purchased from Poland at the end of the Cold War. This week those planes were loaded up and on Thursday, 08/31/23, they were sent, by truck to the National Museum of Military Vehicles right here in Wyoming!Wyoming's famous race aviator Jim Good imported those planes from the Polish airforce with his partner Bob Plamer as a shared owner.
