The drug had been landed in 'pitch darkness' at a stretch of beach near HullA SCOT has been found guilty of plotting to smuggle £42million of cocaine into the UK on a dinghy. Mark Moran, 23, was a “key” member of a gang involved in collecting half-a-tonne of the drug from a vessel in the North Sea and bringing it ashore in the rib. Cops nabbed him, Daniel Livingstone, 24, Anthony McAllister, 33, and Colombian Didier Reyes, 39, after the massive haul was found in a van in a pub car park.

A SEX predator has been convicted of strangling Emma Caldwell and dumping her naked body in woods almost 20 years ago. Beast Iain Packer, 51, faces dying behind bars after he was found guilty today of murdering the 27-year-old sex worker in April 2005. The sexually violent monster had picked up Emma in Glasgow city centre before driving her 40 miles to remote Limefield Woods near Biggar, Lanarkshire.
