We present 450 m and 850 m James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT) observations of the Corona Australis (CrA) molecular cloud taken as part of the JCMT Gould Belt Legacy Survey (GBLS). We present a catalogue of 39 starless and protostellar sources, for which we determine source temperatures and masses using SCUBA-2 450 m/850 m flux density ratios for sources with reliable 450 m detections, and compare these to values determined using temperatures measured by the Herschel Gould Belt Survey (HGBS).

The advent of the JWST has facilitated the robust detection of extremely high-redshift galaxies out to (e.g. Arrabal Haro et al. 2023; Curtis-Lake et al. 2023; Finkelstein et al. 2024; Carniani et al. 2024; Castellano et al. 2024; D’Eugenio et al. 2024). The detection of these galaxies pushes back the onset of Cosmic Dawn to at least . The identification of galaxies at such redshifts was previously predicted by various studies (Hashimoto et al. 2018; Roberts-Borsani et al. 2020; Laporte et al.

The utility of Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) in cosmology arises from the fact that they are empirically standardizable candles, and are bright enough to be observed out to redshift .

A new phosphorous mononitride (31P14N, 31P15N) line list PaiN covering infrared, visible and ultraviolet regions is presented. The PaiN line list extending to theA 1Π – X 1Σ+ vibronic band system, replaces the previous YYLT ExoMol line list for PN. A thorough analysis of high resolution experimental spectra from the literature involving the X 1Σ+ and A 1Π states is conducted, and many perturbations to the A 1Π energies are considered as part of a comprehensive MARVEL study.

We present NIRSpec/MSA observations from the JWST large-area survey WIDE, targeting the rest-frame UV–optical spectrum of Ulema, a radio-AGN host at redshift z = 4.6348. The low-resolution prism spectrum displays high equivalent width nebular emission, with remarkably high ratios of low-ionisation species of oxygen, nitrogen and sulphur, relative to hydrogen; auroral O+ emission is clearly detected, possibly also C+.
