    COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A man was detained early Sunday morning in the Short North neighborhood after a drive-by shootout, which prompted a Columbus police officer to open fire. Columbus police said a special duty officer just finished his shift near a bar in the neighborhood and then saw a shootout occur near East Hubbard Avenue and North Pearl Street just before 2:30 a.m.The shootout was between a man standing outside a parking garage and multiple occupants of a dark pickup truck.

After losing their location on Cemetery Road, the pantry moved to Hilliard Methodist United Church. That’s where the Share Closet was born, allowing community members to come in for clothing and small appliances.

According to a social media post by Corey Taylor, he and a witness alerted police that individuals had broken into his truck by shattering a window shortly after 5 a.m. The truck was parked in front of Taylor’s residence on Kelso Road.
