LOS ANGELES (WCMH) — After a one-of-a-kind Olympics opening ceremony on the Seine River in Paris in 2024, the next summer opening ceremony in Los Angeles will also be a first of its kind event. Los Angeles Olympics organizers announced that the opening ceremony on July 14, 2028 will take place at both the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and SoFi Stadium, which is named “Stadium in Inglewood” for the games for sponsorship reasons.

Tamari Stroughter is being charged as an adult in Common Pleas Court after he allegedly fired shots at Columbus police officers on Jan. 9 on the southeast side.

MILWAUKEE (WCMH) — Multiple Columbus police officers who shot and killed a man who was attempting to stab another near the Republican National Convention last year will not face charges. Milwaukee County district attorney Kent Lovern sent a letter to Columbus police chief Elaine Bryant on Monday concluding his investigation into a sergeant and four officers involved in the incident.
