We recognize the importance of intellectual discourse, both among the student body and within the editorial board at The Observer. A diversity of perspectives strengthens our work and challenges us to think critically. However, given the weight of the argument presented in last week’s “Invite Trump to speak at commencement” editorial and the significance of the topic, we believe it is important to clarify that the editorial does not speak for all of us at The Observer.
