The CEO and president of Carmel’s iconic Christkindlmarkt was forced out of her role by the nonprofit’s board of directors, according to her letter of resignation, as drama surrounding the organization heats up. “This decision is a result of numerous factors, but in summary, it has become abundantly clear to me that this board does not want me in this role as a high functioning, visionary CEO for the organization,” Maria Adele Rosenfeld wrote in her letter of resignation obtained by IndyStar.
