Sutter pleads not guilty at arraignment

WEST BEND — Jacob Sutter, 39, of West Bend, pleaded not guilty to 20 felonies during his arraignment hearing Friday in Washington County Circuit Court. Sutter has been charged with two felonies for causing a child (ages 13-18) to view sexual activity, one for child sexual exploitation, six for the possession of child pornography and 11 for bail jumping. According to court records, if convicted on all charges, Sutter faces up to 268 years’ imprisonment, $830,000 in fines or both.

WEST BEND — Gustavo Chavez, 42, of Beloit, was charged Thursday with two felonies and one misdemeanor in Washington County Circuit Court for an alleged police chase in Germantown on Tuesday. Chavez faces a felony charge for vehicle operator fleeing or eluding a police officer, a felony charges for second- degree recklessly endangering safety, a misdemeanor charge for resisting or obstructing an officer and a misdemeanor charge for bail jumping.

WEST BEND — Melvin Reed, 39, of Milwaukee, was charged with two felonies in Branch 2 of the Washington County Circuit Court, on Tuesday, related to a stabbing that occurred in Germantown on Sunday. The Germantown Police Department announced on Sunday that Reed had been arrested in connection with the stabbing by Indiana State Police and the Gary Police Department in Gary, Indiana.
