Scotland is not healthy. I went to see Scotland versus Greece on 23 March and it did my voice no good, and certainly my optimism was destroyed at the end of the match. We have a ritual that sees us in a pub in Shawlands and then we walk to Hampden. I mention this as I see that the debate has started again on whether alcohol should be available in football stadia in Scotland.

Shahid Choudhary, a printshop owner from Govanhill, Glasgow is the first Scottish Pakistani Muslim to complete all 282 Munros in Scotland. Originally from Mian Channu, Pakistan, Shahid began his impressive hiking odyssey in March 2016. What started as a casual pastime soon turned into a determined quest to join the esteemed ranks of ‘compleaters’—those who have summited all 282 Scottish peaks over 3,000 feet, named after Sir Hugh Munro.

Representatives of the commission are in Lerwick this morning (Tuesday) to launch a new report that pulls together Shetland’s experiences of the energy transition.
