The Honorable Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Cynthia Sweet presided while Assistant District Attorney Partrick LeBrun represented the state. CASPER, Wyo. — After one trial was cancelled due to an apparent medical event and another was scrapped after her failure to appear, a Mills woman was sentenced to two to five years in prison on Tuesday for participating in a burglary two years ago. Judge Kerri Johnson noted that when Shawna Hansen got time to speak before sentencing, she gave no apology or expression of sympathy for the property owners who spoke of the loss of their peace of mind and irreplaceable items of sentimental value.

CASPER,Wyo. —A 21-year-old man has been charged in the May 11 shooting outside a central Casper residence that left 16-year-old Tyler Campos in critical condition. Assistant District Attorney Patrick LeBrun told the court at the defendant’s initial appearance on Tuesday that the victim is expected to survive. “This appeared to be some kind of a joke that ended with a 16-year-old boy shot in the head,” LeBrun said.
