Thanks to a timely text from photographer Tara Wyatt, I remembered a story Tuesday morning and reached the Brushfork Armory in time to catch a school bus taking visitors to the new Timberwood Elementary School. Tara and I visited the site off Airport Road over a year ago when then-Gov. Jim Justice and Baby Dog came to a groundbreaking ceremony. The scene had only the vague footprint of a construction site and a tent for the ceremony.
