NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — More nice weather is on the way as we go through the weekend. A weak cold front will move through early Friday. We will see some clouds with that but most of the area will not see any rain. Far northern spots may see a couple of sprinkles but this will be a mostly dry front. Look for upper 70s on Friday as winds pick up out of the north. Cooler weather filters in to start the weekend so we will see morning lows in the 40s and 50s on Saturday and Sunday morning.

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Much cooler weather has moved in to start the week and we will stay below normal through the day Monday. Expect spotty showers through the morning as we wait on the upper level trough to move through. Once that happens rain chances will drop off by the afternoon. Cloud cover will be stubborn to clear out. Expect some breaks in the clouds by mid to late afternoon followed by clearing tonight. Temperatures today will warm into the low to mid 60s with breezy conditions.

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A slow moving line of rain and storms continues to move east Sunday afternoon. The heaviest activity will move across southern Mississippi through the day. Once the line moves through cooler conditions will move in. Temperatures are dropping into the low to mid 60s behind the front and it feels more like fall compared to the warm conditions of the past week. Much nicer weather will move in over the next few days after Monday.
