    CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Uptown Charlotte skyline looks a little different after crews officially installed a new sign atop the Wells Fargo building. Helicopters were used to lift the large letters to the top of the former Duke Energy tower, which is the second-tallest building in the Queen City. Each letter is about 14 feet tall and lights up. Wells Fargo says there will be several weeks of testing before the sign is officially turned on.

    LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — A man was found shot to death at an apartment complex in Lancaster County early Thursday, deputies said. Lancaster County officials responded to a reported shooting at the Parkstone at Indian Land apartments around 3:30 a.m. on June 12. When deputies arrived, they found a 26-year-old man dead in the parking lot from a gunshot wound. Investigators haven't released the victim's name at this time.
