Specialty drinks include the Zebra Mocha which is a frozen coffee made with dark and white chocolate, and the Pomberry Punch tea, which is made with pomegranate and fresh blueberry. Boundaries Coffee also serves food items including breakfast tacos, kolaches, croissants and blueberry muffins.

The future of Frisco ISD’s Staley Middle School is unknown as district leaders seek a second opinion from demographers. The district’s board of trustees discussed the campus closure April 14 during a regular board meeting. The board is expected to reconsider the school’s closure again in June. The need for the closure comes after a failed bond, which voters denied in November, and declining enrollment.

Korean-inspired restaurant Flame Broiler is now open in Prosper, according to a social media post from the company. On the menuThe restaurant offers Korean-inspired bowls and plates. Protein options include chicken, steak bulgogi and tofu. Customers have a choice of brown rice, white rice, vegetables or salad. Flame Broiler first opened in 1995 in California and franchising began in 1999, according to the company website.

Lisa Phelps has been named the new principal of Celina ISD’s O’Dell Elementary School. Phelps currently serves as a principal in Lewisville ISD and was announced as CISD’s new principal in an April 10 news release. Phelps will begin her role in July. “Mrs. Phelps’ previous success building and leading a collaborative and innovative school culture demonstrates her commitment to the growth of every learner, young and old,” CISD Superintendent Thomas Maglisceau said in the release.
