The Milwaukee area could see 90-degrees and potentially storms on the afternoon of June 17. In southeast Wisconsin, especially by the Milwaukee area and south, highs could hit around 90 degrees in the early-to-mid afternoon, said J.J. Wood, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Sullivan. The rest of the area will have temps in the mid-to-upper 80s. "It looks like a pretty warm and humid day," Wood said.

A 29-year-old was shot and killed in downtown Milwaukee the night of June 16. According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the shooting occurred in the 300 block of W. Vliet St. around 11 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Videos circulating social media appear to show a person get shot at the intersection of West Vliet Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, then collapse outside Brewery Credit Union.
