The night before members of the Class of 2025 crossed the stage to graduate, almost 100 Hanover High School students participated in a senior prank that school officials said βquickly crossed the line from harmless fun to inappropriate behavior.βHanover police came across βsigns of suspicious activityβ at the Cedar Street campus around 11 p.m. Thursday, May 29, according to a joint statement released on Saturday, May 31, by Principal Matthew Mattos and Superintendent Matthew Ferron.

All seven penthouse units are two stories and have two balconies. The smallest of these units is listed at a little over $1.8 million. The penthouse homeowners association fees are based on square footage and run between $915 and $1,200 per month.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has returned to the South Shore giving reviews of local cheese pizza offerings. His YouTube βOne Biteβ reviews often rake in hundreds of thousands of page views and occasionally inspire increased foot traffic to the subject pizzeria. He gives off a rating up to 10 based on one (but actually several) bites of a slice (or two). Portnoy, who is from Swampscott, has said time and again that South Shore bar pizza is his favorite style.

Brothers Michael and Mark Mignosa again withdrew plans to bring a new restaurant to their property at 10 Bassett St., where The Plate used to be. The April withdrawal without prejudice marks the second time that the brothers have gone back to the drawing board. They still plan to open an eatery in the second-floor space, according to the Mignosasβ attorney Michael Modestino. But it may or may not be with local restaurateur Vance Welch, who owns nearby Abby Park and Novara.
