A new face will be joining the Marshfield select board. Patricia “Trish” Simpson bested incumbent Lynne Fidler during Saturday’s town election. The unofficial result was 2,139 to 1,799. Fidler, who was serving as the board’s chair at the time, was first elected to the three-person board in 2022. This is Simpson’s first foray into politics.
