AUSTIN, Texas — Every week on KVUE, we feature a different child in the Texas foster care system, in hopes of helping them get adopted by a forever family. Layla is a sweet 11-year-old girl in Texas foster care who is getting ready to finish up the 5th grade before heading into summer break. Something she really enjoys is roller skating, so KVUE's Hannah Rucker met up with her at Bartholomew District Park for a morning of skating. "How do you get over the fear of falling?" Rucker asked Layla.

For decades, South Congress was known for free for all back-in parking, allowing you to stroll for endless hours.

Retired folks relocate for a variety of reasons, but moving to a place with a lower cost of living (and more relaxed lifestyle) are the best reasons for moving to a place like San Antonio, which was just named one of the best cities to put away those work boots. Austin, on the other hand, lagged far behind. Austin ranked No. 133 while San Antonio triumphed No. 2 in SmartAsset's new national ranking of "Where Retirees Are Moving – 2024 Study," published May 2.
