Prince Karim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan IV, the 49th hereditary spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Muslims and founder of the Aga Khan Development Network, was laid to rest on Sunday in a private burial ceremony in Aswan, Egypt. The Aga Khan’s burial came five days after he passed away on February 4 in Lisbon, Portugal, at the age of 88.
