    As anyone knows reading this, I am passionate about the self invested market and, in particular, small self-administered schemes (SSAS). It has been my focus for pretty much all my career. When they were introduced back in 1973, I don’t think anyone would have foreseen their popularity and success.     Financial Conduct Authority chief executive Nikhil Rathi recently gave a speech repeating the main points in its advice guidance boundary review paper (DP23/5). In essence, that too few people seek advice and are in danger of poor outcomes. He repeated that more needs to be done to support clients who, among other things, unwittingly hold too much in cash, stay in poor or unsuitable funds or products and are adopting unsustainable withdrawal rates. But who needs to do more?
