How many times has someone asked you if you have read a specific book? It could be a classic from years past or a latest best seller. If you are an avid reader like me it can be hard to keep up with the books you want to read, books you have on hold at the library, on order from a bookstore or of course have already consumed. I think of summer reading the same way as summer eating. Lighter, fresher, smaller bites. I don’t necessarily mean books set in those months or at the beach. I think of books that can be a fun and wild ride. And would also be a perfect read by the water. I do appreciate that there are many big, new releases already on the market. Or soon to be released titles that are getting a lot of hype. You won’t see those books here. I prefer to give love to the lesser-known authors and titles.

The pen in the coat pocket, shirt pocket, the car pen, the truck pen, the shed pen, the garage pen. Well replace that with handkerchief, measuring tape, screwdriver etc., and you get what I mean. This month’s lesson is inspired by dad.
