    Today, the Supreme Court ruled on the landmark gender affirming care case US v. Skrmetti, upholding a lower court’s decision to support Tennessee in its ban on gender-affirming care for minors. The decision was 6-3, with the only dissent being Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Brown-Jackson. Legal analyst Chris Geidner points out that while this will impact future legal arguments in pushing against gender affirming care bans, several narrow routes are still open to challenge various laws.

    The Getty Center Museum in Los Angeles is currently running an exhibition called “$3 Bill: Evidence of Queer Lives.” The exhibition focuses on LGBTQ+ history in the United States from the 1900s to the present day through the use of historical paintings, photos, and other memorabilia. The exhibition is curated by Pietro Rigolo and runs until September 28th.
