In a jolt to the Aam Aadmi Party, the BJP’s Harpreet Babla Thursday won the high-stake Chandigarh Mayoral polls against AAP candidate Prem Lata. While Harpreet Babla got 19 votes, Prem Lata got 17 votes. As many as 36 votes, including that of Member of Parliament Manish Tewari, were polled during the elections which were recorded on camera. Tewari is an ex-officio member of the House. The AAP and Congress, who are in alliance, had 20 votes while the Bharatiya Janata Party had 16 votes.
