Police were called to a disturbance in Southern Way at around 4.25am on Saturday, May 3. At the scene, officers arrested Harry Clow, 24, of Bobbingworth Mill in Ongar, initially on suspicion of causing criminal damage. Following further enquiries, he was also arrested on suspicion of rape.
