    ELM CREEK, Neb. (KSNB) - Interstate 80 near the Elm Creek exit has reopened in both directions after a serious crash Thursday morning left one person dead and several others injured. According to the Nebraska State Patrol, the crash happened around 10:55 a.m. at mile marker 256 and involved multiple vehicles. A preliminary investigation shows a westbound pickup towing an SUV lost control in a construction zone, crossed the center line, and collided with an eastbound semi.
